I entered the hospital room to see Sora standing over an unconscience Riku.  He had wires and tubes connecting him to equipment.  The heart monitor bleeped a steady pace.  My attention switched at a movement across the room.  Zexion and an older brown haired man were sitting in chairs.

"Hello," Zexion sighed.

I walked over with Axel.  "Who's he?" I gestured to the man.

"His name is Lex.  He hit Riku with his car."

The man stood up and was surprisely not much taller than I was.  "I'm very sorry.  I'll pay for the hospital bill if you'd like."

Axel chuckled, "You gonna pay for the funeral, though?"

Sora choked up and began to sob.

I hit Axel,"Don't be funny with him here."

"Sorry."

Zexion stood up now, "Unless he gets hit by another car, he won't die."

I looked back at Riku, "So, he's gonna be okay?"

"...'going.'"

I stuck my tongue out.

"That's very improper, Roxas."

Lex laughed, "You guys are practically flirting."

Axel grabbed me, "He's mine, goddamnit."

"I would never love a person like him." Zexion sneered.

Lex smiled, "Well, then.  I guess you're free to go out with me."

Zexion turned red. "What?!"

Lex grabbed the younger boy's hand, "Let's go, eh?"  He turned to us, "We'll be back later."

Zexion dumbly let Lex lead him out of the room.

Axel laughed, "Cute."

"...that was disgusting."

"Baby, you jealous."

"Maybe..." I leaned in for a kiss.

Suddenly Sora wailing got louder.  I sighed and backed off of Axel.  I went next to Sora and ruffled his hair a bit.  "Sora, he's gonna be fine."

"Then why isn't he awake?!"

"Quiet down, Riku just needs to rest for awhile.  He'll wake up soon."  I didn't feel right about lying but Sora silenced his crying and just sat there waiting for Riku.

I looked to Axel, "He's gonna be alright, isn't he?"

Axel hugged my waist, "Yeah, he will."
