BBxRae~ Too Sweet
Raven woke that morning with heavy eyes. As she wondered why she felt strange, she got up to be answered very loudly by her body. Her chest burned and her legs and arms ached. She fell back on the bed and her head started to throb.
"Uhh…" she groaned, staring up at the ceiling, "Damn."
It wasn't like her to get sick, but here she was; with a fever and pain throughout her entire body. Raven took a moment to recollect and then sauntered over to the bureau weakly. After rummaging through a drawer, she found aspirin and took it.
When the medicine took affect she changed into clean clothes, sucked it up, and went out of her room. Raven entered the main room unnoticed, thankfully, and retrieved some herbal tea. Then, she relaxed on a seat that was nearest to the door for an easy escape.
Beastboy was, of course, the first to notice her. He smiled and went over.
"Hey, Rae," he said, cheerfully.
Almost immediately he understood that something was wrong. It was in the way her hood was up and hiding her face so early in the morning, how she had been the last to wake up, and how she was sitting slumped over. He moved as close as he dared, in case she wasn't in a good mood, and checked that no one was paying attention to them.
"What's up?"
Raven looked up and remained silent, not willing herself to open up to her friend.
He was about to say something more when the sirens blared and the bright red lights flashed.
"Titans, go!" Robin called, running out first and the others followed except Raven and Beastboy.
"Maybe you shou-" he started, but Raven was already floating by him.
Beastboy shrugged and followed her close behind, a little worried.

The villains that had caused the alarm were a bunch of thugs and the Titans easily defeated them. But even with such a simple fight, Raven was still gasping for breath and Beastboy noticed quickly, having been watching her every move the entire time, and came to her aid.
"I'm fine," she spat and stood up from her crouching position.
Beastboy saw the pain in her eyes and put an arm around her shoulders to hold her up. Despite her pride, Raven couldn't help but lean into him slightly to relieve at least some of the torture she was under.
It didn't take the rest of the team more than a minute after they saw the unusual contact to know that something was seriously wrong. They rushed over to get a better look, concerned for their friend.
"What's the matter?" Robin asked.
"She's sick," Beastboy replied; at which Raven scoffed at.
Cyborg turned and started for the car as he said, "Let's get her back to the Tower. I'll run some tests on her."
Everyone piled into the car with Raven still staying close to Beastboy whether or not she liked the help.
By the time they got out of car at the Tower, Raven was clinging to the changeling, but making sure it was hidden by her cloak, feeling embarrassed by her actions.
They reached the infirmary and Raven lay down in a heap on the cot, exhausted. Cyborg hooked her up to a machine or two and ran some tests.
"Well, she's gonna be fine," Cyborg announced and everyone sighed in relief.
Starfire spoke up, "But how come she is not healing herself?"
Raven cleared her throat softly and they turned to listen.
"Whatever sickness I have is too similar to my own body's cells. It is too complicated to distingue between the two and I might hurt myself in the process of healing."
"…So what do we do now?" Beastboy asked, still a little confused.
"Wait it out, I guess, right?" Cyborg asked Raven.
She gave a small nod.
"We'll let you rest then," Robin said with a sympathetic face.
They all filtered out of the room, but Beastboy lingered. Raven could feel that he was still very worried but he didn't want to show it.
"I'll be fine," she murmured.
His head shot up and he had watery eyes.
Raven sighed, "Come here."
Beastboy nervously shuffled over to her and dropped his head back down.
"What's wrong?" she prodded and thought of the irony of this statement.
"It's…I should go. You should rest."
"I'm much better now. Cyborg gave me plenty of pain meds."
"But…" he argued fruitlessly because he truly wanted to stay.
"You've seen me much worse. Why are you cry-" she changed her words, wanting him to leave with his masculinity intact, "…acting this way."
"This just reminds me of all the other times. I…I just got scared it all," he finished in a sheepish mumble, feeling useless.
Raven smiled, in spite of the discomfort she was in, "Hey."
Beastboy wiped his eyes and slowly looked up. He was surprised to see her lips turned up uncharacteristically in a large smile.
"You're just too sweet, BB."

Regrets
No one really knew why he left. They just believed that the thought of Terra was getting to be too much to handle for the green teen, so, they didn't question anything when he told them he was leaving.
But that wasn't the reason.
Raven knew the reason, and she regrets every hour of her life when she thinks back to it.
Beastboy had pulled her aside in the hall one morning while she was heading to the kitchen. He looked nervous but courageous at the same time like he was finally going to get something off his chest. Raven just looked straight at him with her deadpan eyes.
"Raven, I have to tell you something that's been eating

Chapter 4: Confession
Beast Boy and Raven sat at the table, eating their pizza. They glanced at each other, smiling, whenever their eyes happened to meet. They finished their meals around the same time and accidentally locked in a strange gaze. Raven stopped and looked away when she started thinking about what Beast Boy was going to say. Not only did she feel confused and afraid but she also felt embarrassed at herself that she was hoping he would say what she thought he was going to.
They were silent for a few minutes. Beast Boy looked down at the empty plate then back at Raven to smile at her.

The Final 50 Phrases of BBRae
1. Love
Theirs wasn't the love of fairy tales, of dashing princes and happily ever afters, but it made them feel alive.
2. Dark
People always called the sorceress dark and uncaring, but Beast Boy knew the truth. The darkness was a facade to conceal the blinding light inside.
3. Heaven
At one point, Raven was depressed over the fact that Garfield would be going to Heaven without her after he died. After all, how would let a half-demon into Heaven? When he found out about these concerns, he slowly got onto one knee and pulled her chin up.
"You don't have to worry, Rae. Without you, it wouldn't be Heaven for me. Even if I have to leave
